Who we are

The Core website was developed in 2016 by Dr Melanie Nana and Dr Holly Morgan, two physicians-in-training who are passionate about improving the internal medicine training experience. The website remains a trainee-run resource with a committee chaired by current IMT Dr Sacha Moore, and is supported by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) and the Royal College of Physicians.

What we do

This resource will provide up to date information to support your preparation for MRCP and PACES exams as well as a forum for blogs, career advice and general discussion. It will provide details of teaching opportunities and how and where these can be accessed. The ability to ‘choose and book’ attendance at clinics in a range of specialty is an exciting development which should help you achieve one of the more challenging requirements of your curriculum and give you the opportunity to gain exposure to medical specialties which may not be part of your rotation.
